In 2024, 49% of dogs were left home for 1-4 hours. It is good for a dog to learn to be comfortable being alone for short periods of time.

In 2024, 19% of dogs were left at home for 5 or more hours. Some dogs are well suited for being alone but they don’t all like to be alone for longer periods of time.

4-6 hours

Dogs are ok at home for around 4-6 hours, but benefit greatly from having interactions with others while awaiting your arrival.

Our Services

Dog Walking

We offer 30 to 60 minute walks in your neighborhood. If your dog prefers long walks on the beach, we offer walks not in your neighborhood.

Drop In Visits

We offer 30 to 60 minute visits to your home to feed, let your pet out to use the restroom, or just to play and pet! Can be for all animals.

Pet Transport

We are able to help you transport your pet to and from places like; daycare, from the airport to your home, any grooming or vet visits that you just can’t make it to, or if you just need some extra help.

Grooming

We are able to provide nail trims for both dogs and cats. As well as other things in the near future such as ear cleaning and teeth brushing.

Introducing Maddy! The owner and sole employee... for now!

Maddy decided to start Cloud K-9 because of her love and respect for dogs and cats. Her work experience led her to wanting to help provide something that she saw was lacking in San Diego. She grew up caring for animals in her family and began taking time to watch other peoples pets when she was in high school (more than ten years ago!). When looking for a job after graduating from college and after Covid-19, she realized that she wanted to work with animals full time, especially dogs. This led to working at a dog and cat daycare and boarding facility for almost two years. Now she has begun to understand the vastness of the pet industry and is interested in learning more about how to help normal pet owners in their day to day life.

Cloud K-9 strives to give you the best services(?) because we know that your pet is family. We want to be able to treat everyone’s pets like they are our own family, because we know that is what we all want for our own pets!
